WKU International Education Week 2020: What to Expect

Even though the world looks different right now and for many, travel is not a possibility, there are still several opportunities to engage in international education. From Monday, November 9 until Saturday, November 14, WKU’s Office of Global Learning and International Affairs will be participating in International Education Week along with Eastern Kentucky University, Murry State University, Northern Kentucky University, and the University of Kentucky.

If you’re passionate about global learning or are interested in pursuing international education one day, whether that be studying abroad, traveling, working abroad, etc., then check out these opportunities to learn more about international education.  

Monday, November 9

Tuesday, November 10

“Unconscious Bias: Anti-Asian Bashing in the Age of COVID” with Keynote speaker Juju Chang

  • 3:30 – 4:30 PM CT.

  • Juju Chang is an Emmy-award-winning co-anchor of ABC’s News Nightline. The Confucius Institute at the University of Kentucky is hosting the keynote speaker and Chang is sponsored by each of the Kentucky collaborating schools as a Kentucky-wide shared presentation.
